DEVELOPMENT SECTION

The Development Section deals with numerous types of works pertaining to developmental activities of the University. The most significant activity of the section is to compile and give final shape to the Five Year Plan proposals of the University for Consideration of the statutory bodies viz the Academic Council, the Finance Committee and the Executive Council before its submission to the University Grants Commission and also to oversee execution of plan projects so as to ensure judicious and timely utilization of the sanctioned grant by the funding agency within the plan period.

Besides, the Development Section acts as a facilitator and coordinates with the Deans of Faculties, Principals of Colleges, Chairpersons of the Departments of Studies, Directors/ Coordinators of the Centers etc in submission of proposals under various schemes promulgated from time to time by different regulatory bodies like UGC, AICTE, MCI, DCI and CCIM etc.
